Located in Ravenna, Ohio, Smithers Rapra is a third-party tire testing laboratory for the tire manufacturing industry. This project entailed a 10,000-square-foot combined two-story building addition. The first floor houses MTS test equipment, the MTS control room, mechanical/electrical equipment and storage/future testing equipment space. The second floor includes office and administrative space.

The 11-month project involved installing 1,200 Amp, 480 V service. This is the second of two large projects performed at Smithers Rapra for general contractor Louis Perry & Associates.

The project was completed on time and on budget.
